Joe Pan is the author of five poetry collections (two SPD best-sellers) and coeditor of the popular Brooklyn Poets Anthology. His work has appeared in such publications as the Boston Review, HyperallergicThe New York Times, and The Philadelphia Review of Books and he’s been interviewed by such places as the New York Post, Poets & Writers, Publishers Weekly, The Rumpus, and the Wall Street Journal. Joe Pan is the founder, publisher, and editor-in-chief of Brooklyn Arts Press, an independent publishing house honored in 2016 with a National Book Award win in Poetry, and publisher of Augury Books, honored in 2020 with a Lambda Literary Award. He is also founder of Brooklyn Artists Helping, which serves New York City’s homeless population with free sleeping bags and goods.
